Liner notes by Alison MacKenzie:

Only six months after the morning Kay uttered the words “Ewan, could you show me Nuages?” at a camping folkie weekend at Mulgowie, you get to hear this album! When you listen to it, take note of the beautiful counter melodies and the other unobtrusive subtleties in the music. There are not many contemporary styles of music where you will be listening away to one instrument, kind of lost in an auditory dream, when a second instrument will suddenly appear in your consciousness and overtake everything else you had been listening to before!
This music will make everyone who owns an instrument get it out of the case, dust it off and cradle it in their arms. By the way, Ewan’s answer to Kay’s question was “After coffee - first I need coffee! “.

Ewan and Kay would like to thank the folk community of South East
Queensland, the Australian Gypsy Jazz community - who gathered for the first
time at OzManouche 2006 - and Denis and Alison for their understanding,
love and support.
